The Hex Files

The condo may or may not be taken. Our friend went to see it, and right afterwards a previous person contacted the lessor and said they were interested in renting and/or buying it. Marshall said he was going to give this other party until close of business tomorrow to make their offer, or rent it to us. I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket, so I've spent most of the day contacting other complexes and locators to help us find a place. One of the prior complexes that we liked told me straight out "Don't move here. The schools are AWFUL."

So, it's back to the drawing board. I'm seriously considering making the drive to B'ham, staying in a cheap hotel for a couple of days and looking around. It's ONLY a 12 hour drive, with no one I know along the way to drop in on.

ONLY 12 hours driving...
