beltaineladyNavarre is gone. He was having a terrible night, he couldn't walk or control his limbs. He started panting and crying and so around 1 am we took him to the ER. He had another seizure and was put on IV phenobarb and valium and kept under observation. When we went into the back to say goodbye, he was screaming...I don't know if he knew he was doing it or whether we were even there.
About 7 am this morning, the vet called and said he'd gone into cardiac arrest. They did CPR and was able to get his heart beating again, but he was brain dead. I authorized them to let him go.
I am angry. I am sad. Part of my heart is missing.
