I wish I was an artist

beltaineladyI really do. I wish I could create a work of art that I'd be proud to display or give to someone. Other than my recent foray into knitting, I don't have any artistic abilities (visual art).
I bring this up because I'm now staring at a very empty fireplace mantle, and it's a glaring blank wall. I want to fill that space with original art. I'd love it if I were able to do so with someone I've created, but alas...I suck in that regard. I took art classes and just never got the hang of it.

Oh well. Until I find something we all love; or Will takes a picture that works in that space, I'll just have to continue staring at the blank wall.
