I'm behind a few days, so I'm going to incorporate those into my last post for this year's project.

I'm extremely grateful to my friends and family for their love and understanding. It seems like I'm always complaining, and they continue to support and encourage me. It helps me to get through the bad patches that are de riguer with Fibromyalgia.

I'm grateful for my pets. Sierra and Navarre never fail to make me smile or laugh on a daily basis. Navarre, especially, as he's my main companion. I spend more time with my dog than the rest of my family, since they have work and school. And he never tires of me, and loves me even when I'm hurting and grumpy.

I'm also grateful for my friend [livejournal.com profile] estaratshirai. We've never met in person but have known each other for years online. She started this meme a few years ago as a personal exercise. A few of us picked it up and carried it on, and it's just spread from there. The Gratitude Project may be based on the pagan calendar, but it's not a pagan-only project, and it's gratifying to see it spread as far as it has. Thank you, Julie, for starting it; for reminding us to be happy for the little things even as life throws you curves.

Happy Mabon to my pagan friends, and happy fall equinox to you others.
