Gratitude post, 9/11

beltaineladyI'm grateful that my friends that were there all survived. I'm grateful to those who came to our aid. I'm grateful that I no longer hear that awful sound over the phone as I talked to our tech who had just entered the south tower in my dreams.
I remember, will always remember. But wish that this day could go by as any other day, rather than being marked as a sad, angry and still painful wound in our nations spirit. I may live in Texas now, but I will always be a New Yorker...and I will always remember.
